What do we call our downsized turbo engines? Something like ecoboost? Something eco friendly sounding and inoffensive at least? NO BOOSTERJET. I applaud the marketing person who pitched that.

It’s a better name than renault’s ECO2 label: it’s like they want to say we are ecological too. I’m so glad my Twingo doesn’t have that sticker on the boot.
Too bad a Boosterjet Suzuki will be slower than it sounds.

I peeled my eco2 sticker off, it means nothing. My engine is based on a design from the early 90s and gets kinda crappy fuel economy and emits more co2 than rivals. Theres nothing eco about it...

Cool name, but I’ll miss the NA engines.

Haha, yes nothing eco about that. Mine is somewhat eco, getting around 18,5-ish km/litre (52-ish MPG) but that’s mostly due to the extremely long fifth gear. Or maybe adding extra valves to a 90s design helped....
